I'm Michael, music producer and composer. I've been making music
I am Michael, I started with the music when I was 9 years old. For my 10th birthday I wanted a Bontemi organ and also got it from my parents. Secretly, I always went to the neighbor boy, who was the same age as me. But the parents already had a Hammond organ at that time. While he learned notes, I watched him play and learned where every single sound is on the keyboard. That's why I can play by ear, I don't need notes to play. I can implement what is in my head directly. A few years later, by now I was a proud 13 years old, I was just with my friend Dirk, by bike from school on the way home. Dirk was lightly hit by a car. But Dirk himself was to blame, as he drove off the bike path directly without paying attention to the road. The car struck him only slightly, fortunately nothing worse happened. The motorist was very concerned. We were then invited by this nice young man a few days later in his music studio, which was nearby. For the school we were looking for a topic for an upcoming presentation. Luckily, we were able to create an interesting presentation about one of the most famous producers. It was a great conversation, he introduced us to his electronic music. I first heard about analog electronic music. The next day Dirk came to me with a tape, which we then heard up and down. From that day on, I always went to all the music shops just to be able to play on a real synth. At the end of the day, the salesmen always kindly threw me out of the shop. But the next morning I was back. They always let me play, I couldn't afford a synth at that time. I always had to go very far, initially with my bike, later with the moped. My first analog synthesizer came only during my training. Then came the Commodore 16, the C64 and then the Amiga 4000. This was the first time I had the opportunity to use Midi and was able to record on 8 tracks. With a drum computer, a guitar and my corg I produced the first pieces of music. Unfortunately, everything I produced in the 80s and 90s was destroyed by a single lightning strike in 2007. I only saved 5 tracks from all the time. By the end of the 2000s, many synthesizers passed through my hands. To this day, I have remained true to music. In 2019 I composed my first track for Neil w Young. More songs with Neil w Young will follow. Let's see where the exciting journey still goes?
