Joyce Cissé, known professionally as flowerovlove, was born on February 18, 2005, in London, United Kingdom, and began creating music at the age of six. She released her debut single, "Kiss & Chase", in August 2020, followed by "Fat Wave" and "Unseen Miracles" later that year, establishing her presence in the bedroom pop scene. In May 2021, she issued her first EP Think Flower, which attracted the attention of manager Jesse Dickson and led to a contract with FAE Group. Her second EP, A Mosh Pit In the Clouds, launched in November 2022 and included collaborations with the Invisible Men and Dan Smith. In 2023, flowerovlove signed with Capitol Records and released the single "Love You, which was featured on the Heartstopper season 3 soundtrack. Her work has earned her the 2022 A&R Award for Artist to Watch and the 2024 Women in Music Award for New Artist, cementing her status as a rising figure in contemporary pop.
