Thomson Alexandre Nasser Zulu better known as Lil Hype Da Martian is a rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Lusaka, Zambia. Emerging from the harsh streets of chawama, southcentral Lusaka, Lil Hype Da Martian started rapping at a tender age of 9, but didn't take his rapping talent serious until he was 14, teaming up with longtime friend and regular collaborator, Dee Trigga. The two formed a rap duo: Da Trooper Boyz, releasing a mixtape right after their formation. Trooper Boyz went on to release many more singles and got local recognition thus making them appear on many artists' singles and albums. The duo became solo acts in 2016 a year after they established their own independent record label; Trooper Gang Entertainment
