New single "Make It Better" out now!
Bleeker emerges as a formidable alt-rock band, armed with an undeniable determination to reclaim their musical narrative. Following the success of their debut album, "Erase You," featuring the chart-topping radio single "Highway," international acclaim, and a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year, the band encountered an unexpected hiatus due to a world in lockdown.
Undeterred by the unforeseen challenges, Bleeker abandoned a partially released album, paving the way for an exhilarating journey of self-discovery and creative autonomy. The band, comprised of vocalist Taylor Perkins, alongside guitarist (and brother) Cole Perkins, bassist Mike Van Dyk, and drummer Chris Dimas, found themselves immersed in an explosive wave of creativity. This tumultuous period not only reignited their musical spark but also fostered a renewed sense of focus and determination to pick up where they left off signing with budding rock indie Known Accomplice records and prepping a brand-new record.
Bleeker's musical influences span the spectrum from classic rock legends like Led Zeppelin to post-grunge staples Audioslave and contemporary chart-toppers like Royal Blood. This diverse inspiration allows the band to create a sound that seamlessly merges nostalgia with a modern edge. Their lyrics delve into themes of love, loss, and personal growth, resonating with a diverse and appreciative audience.
