Amidst a forest, and a city: Dual
Daniel Ayala, artistically known as DJ Dasten, is one of the most influential DJs in Latin electronic music. He has established himself as a global reference in Guaracha and is currently one of the most prominent Afro House DJs in Colombia. Born in Medellín on January 2, 1998, he began his musical journey at just 12 years old.
He started his career playing in bars and clubs in Medellín, and in 2016, a breakthrough performance at the iconic Space club propelled his career to new heights. From that moment on, he played in the most important clubs in the city, gaining recognition from both audiences and fellow DJs and producers. That same year, he made his debut in Bogotá.
By 2018, his rapid growth led him to embark on his first European tour after performing in several American countries, including the United States, Panama, Chile, Argentina, Guatemala, and Mexico. That same year, he opened his own club, La Ksa House, where he is a resident DJ alongside Fumaratto. Together, they created the project "Fumarastten" and the Esquelefascina sessions.
His most recent tour, the Pink Panther Tour (2022), featured performances in Colombia, Mexico, Chile, the United States, and Costa Rica. In 2024, he performed in Argentina and made his debut in a key venue for the genre: Tulum.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as SOG, Fumaratto, Yiiberking, Snooyz, Chris Salgado, Felicia, and Soley GJ, solidifying his influence in the electronic music scene.
