Shervin Najafian is an Iranian actor, singer, songwriter, and music teacher, based in Brussels, Belgium. He studied Composition at Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and piano and viola at the Tehran Conservatory of Music. He is also a trained guitar player, as well as a cinema and television actor. He got his first movie role in "A Mother in Manville". His full filmography includes Flower, Children Are Our Mirror, Fire and Reed, Pomegranate and Cane, The Doll Thief, Season Five, Seven Songs, In the Eyes of the Wind, No One Knows About Persian Cats.
The film “No One Knows About Persian Cats was presented at Cannes International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize ex-aequo in the section "Un Certain Regard". The film soundtrack features Shervin's song “Opening Title”, also known as “Zarbdar” or “Man kiam”
