From the meadows of johannesburg to the bible belt, Krimpen aan den ijssel. from a very young age, Homeboy has spent a lot of his time curating music edits and getting involved with the local music scene in the Netherlands. Coming from a musical family, he never found an insturment he really could articulate through, he'd rather add something new to the jam, so he started writing. although he kept his work inside the comfort of his own home, he started sharing it with the world while working on his first big project. he told me. "i have to practice, make it second nature, and be comfortable with my tools before i can make music that translates what i feel." A dream can only come true if you understand it, and to understand it you have to be awake. in his journey to becoming a better writer, he started to get involved with musical projects, mostly hip-hop, but sometimes electronic music. comfortable in every genre, he loves the underground scene the most. this is whereh planted his roots and started to grow. raw subjects, nocturne vibes, twisted energey, honesty. thoe are the core elements on wich his art is based.
