Mehdi Pinson, better known under the pseudonym DVNO, is a protean artist who’s been multiplying projects since the middle of the 90s. He is a modern epicurean, songwriter, producer, illustrator, and a troublemaker who is very involved with Surface To Air, participating in the emergence of the brand and the French edition of Vice magazine.
DJ, Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Radio Host and Entertainer, he doesn't restrict himself from any playground. More than a simple "mercenary of cool" he is the stable link of a French Touch movement in perpetual mutation. Counter tenor and turbulent crooner, it is at the turntables that he distills with hedonism his unconditional love for the mixture of the genres.
Equally at ease in the studio, on stage and in clubs around the world, and a regular at fashion week aftershows, he distinguishes himself by his science of topline but remains a valuable producer and remixer who keeps one foot in fashion. A Discrete art director, illustrator and director, he enjoys blurring the lines without forgetting to sign some musical creations between luxury and counterculture, for Nike, Lanvin, Issey Miyake, Citroën, Converse, Sony, PSG...
