With a unique blend of Afrobeats and Rap, young and talented Lagos based artiste, Brainee, is ready to take on the controversy filled Hip Hop and Rap scene in Nigeria and Africa at large. While in school, cutting his musical teeth and looking for an in - to the music industry, he won the 2014 edition of the Pepsi Chart Show in University of Lagos.
Brainee raps and sings in English, Pidgin, Yoruba and Igbo while exploring other languages. He has always been connected to music, listening and creating at will while drawing inspiration from the likes of Sarkodie, Vector, M.I. Abaga, Wande Coal, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Brainee is an electric and captivating stage performer, a skill he has constantly improved upon a lot by sharing various stages with other local acts, including friend and label mate - Yemi Alade, one of the very best in the business.
Currently signed to Rebel Movement/ Effyzzie Music group, the talented lyricist and writer looks to appeal to a wide demographic with his style of “Street Hip Hop”. He brings a unique recipe of smooth, vibrant, feel good music - which sets him apart from the crowd.
