Glib is a family of seasoned Belgrade`s based musicians gathered around the idea of keeping it simple. Celebrating art of playing together, recording it in ambient, onemic mode, like it was done in the beginning. Main goal is greatness, not perfection, joy of creation, capturing a moment and air vibration in a single room full of people on the same mission. To bring back the innocence of mastership to the rock music.
Members of ever growing Glib family, Rooster Glib – guitar, C. Thornton Glib – bass, JB Glib – vocal, guitar recorded their first four piece EP on may 21th at Down there studio. Production duties were done by Uroš “The Duke” Milkić. Guitars and amp were mostly 40+ years old, so occasional cracks, hums and whispers of old ghosts were more than welcome. Les pauls, telecasters, precisions, de luxes did good. Strings vibrated, air was full, ribbons were grooving. Rock was rolling with ease.
Lazar Bellavia, prized Italian graphic designer, did first video. Dollor Glib, senior family member, knows all the family secrets and made a hell of a visual identity for the band.
