Koet is the new project of Sophie C., a female British musician and producer now living in the Netherlands. With her musical roots in the UK dance and rave scene, and a boxful of over- and underground releases to her credit, Koet builds on a solid production background to weave a brand-new sound. Referencing a sometimes-turbulent life, Koet’s music defies rigid genres—as does she. With influences ranging from Deadmau5 to Goldfrapp, working in her own studio, Koet produces music that will always excite and never do quite what you expect.
