Born, Onthatile Kheu. I am a 19-year-old rapper and producer from Bloemfontein, FS, South Africa. I grew up listening to local house music in early 2010s, however my cousin introduced me to rap music in 2014 and I started writing my own lyrics the following year when I was 11.
I gained interest in doing music when I was 15 years old (2019), from then my sound grew in a very positive way. I like melodic, soulful music, which makes my sound unique because I produce it in most times.
My artist name comes from two of my 'middle' names (however not part of my full name) which is Neo and Raymond, so I played around with them and came across "Rayne" (Ray-mond and Ne-o). I knew there was probably like a million people who call themselves that. I had to make mine stand out and I added "Soul" for the fact that I like making soulful melodies and decided to stylize it as Rayne$oul.
