Joshua Faulkner is a 22-year-old artist from Glastonbury. Inspired by early Arctic Monkeys and The Wombats, he combines Rock and Alternative using his unique blend of soulful vocals and rhythmic guitar playing. His songs delve headfirst into topics like toxic relationships on 'Saving Grace', romance and lovers on 'I'm The Reason' and 'Umlaut' and environmentalism on 'Rainbows on the Water'.
Joshua started playing music at a very young age and began writing original songs at the beginning of 2018. Throughout 2019, he released his first EP and toured around Somerset at venues such as The Fleece in Bristol and Moles in Bath. In March 2020, he released his first album, 'Left & Right'. The album explores themes of the human condition and the mind. Over the following year, he began working on the follow-up, 'A Man For Words', releasing the first single 'Modern-day Medusa' in October 2021 and met with praise for his more serious and mature style of writing. Over 2022 and 2023, Joshua released a number of singles, culminating with his third EP 'Personable', telling the story of two characters and their relationship with one another over time.
