EFFATA was set in motion by Ralf Blagau in twenty-twenty as an outlet for his musical and spiritual explorations. Hypnotic and contemplative, but at the same time rooted in the raw energy of their Post-Punk influences, the songs of EFFATA strive to approach the unapproachable. Amidst synthetic sounds and echoing drums, the three musicians let emerge their own vision of folk music gloom, between melancholic mysticism and a ferociously intense confrontation with the numinos. Above it all a voice rings out loud and clear, submerging itself into arcane recitals, boldly affirming the unknown.
