Born in 1991 near Strasbourg, France, Helen Frey grew up immersed in the sounds of 80's and
90's Techno/Trance music thanks to her father's audio cassettes. She used to listen to them on a
small child's tape recorder. As a teenager, Helen aspired to become a music star and form a rock
band, leading her to take electric guitar lessons. Alongside her work in the fitness industry, she
acquired the skill of creating her own CDs using a small mixing software.
Initially, Helen had a diverse taste in music, enjoying genres like Deep House, Minimal, Hardstyle,
Psytrance, Trance, and House. However, it wasn't until 2018 that she truly found her calling and
fell in love with Techno. Inspired by the mixes of Adam Beyer and Charlotte de Witte, she
decided to venture into DJing and started mixing in 2019.
Helen quickly made a name for herself in the Strasbourg Techno scene and had the opportunity
to share the stage with renowned artists such as T78, WNDRLST, TRYM, Space 92, Nusha, Cosmic
Boys, and others. In July 2023, she released her first collaboration with the artist AiKAi on the
label KM Selection (DE).
Not only a rising star in the Strasbourg Techno scene, but Helen Frey has also showcased her
talent on multiple occasions in various towns across France and Germany, captivating audiences
with her electrifying performances.
Helen Frey's music takes listeners on a journey into the realms of Hardtechno and Acid, with a
nostalgic touch of 90s groove. Her unique blend of sounds creates an unforgettable experience
for her audience.
