Ex Anima was founded by Quasar in 2014 as a one-man Black Metal project. The split-album "Roots of Diversity" was released later this year with the participation of Hyperborea from Bogotá, Colombia. After some time, Quasar started to forge material for the full-length debut album Pliaga which was finally released at the end of February in 2018. In May of that year, Pliaga was also released in physical format, specifically on limited edition MC cassettes via Mor Ho! Productions (MHP). In the middle of 2020, was released single "Blind Descent". After this single Quasar began work on the EP "Beyond the Fatigue", which was released in early 2022, also in physical format (CD and MC) under MHP. Subsequently began work on a second full-length album titled "Bôľ Hôr", which is more focused on atmosphere than its predecessors. It is also the first album in Quasar's native language - Slovak. At the end of January 2023, a music video was published, for one of the songs of this album, namely "Bôľ Hôr II." A month later the whole album was released, traditionally under MHP on CD and MC cassettes.
