Bloodstain was formed in late 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden by Linus Lindin, Oskar Lindroos, Jonathan Thyberg and Benjamin Norgren. They bonded over their love of old-school thrash metal and the raw energy from the Bay Area scene, they quickly developed their own sound: fast, aggressive and uncompromising. Just months after forming, Bloodstain entered a local music competition where they delivered an electrifying performance that caught the attention of both fans and industry professionals.
Determined to capitalize on their momentum, Bloodstain immediately entered the studio SolnaSound to record their debut EP, I Am Death. Released in March 2024, the EP quickly gained traction, fueled by word of mouth and relentless DIY promotion.
Following the success of I Am Death, Bloodstain is now preparing to release their highly anticipated debut album, set to drop in late 2025. Recorded again at SolnaSound and produced by Alx Hell (Entombed) the album is set to deliver a modern, uncompromising sound that blends thrash aggression with razor-sharp heavy metal precision.
Bloodstain is on the verge of something huge. Their debut album is set to be the defining moment that propels them onto the international metal stage.
