Zarah is recording her album Essence, she will release 12 songs in 2024 and will be in English and Portuguese.
Zarah is 29 years old, she was born in a small town in the Amazon, Brazil.
At the age of 7 started to be a soloist in church groups. She started writing songs at age 10.
She grew up listening to church-influenced gospel music. When she started studying vocal technique, her biggest references were Alicia Keys, Sade, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian. In her Jazz and Blues project in 2018, she began studying some Jazz/blues singers and fell in love with Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Etta James and Aretha Franklin. These are her biggest references in the world of music. She started her music career professionally in 2012. In 2018 Sarah signed her first international contract. Her second international contract was in China, where she spent 6 months.
In 2021 she was invited to a TV Show Called "Canta Comigo", a music reality show on Netflix in Brazil.
In 2022 she signed a contract with Disney. She currently works at Walt Disney as a singer.
