Calling Annabelle – The northern breeze of Punk
The Hamburg-based Punk Music franchise delivers political understanding, smashing power and intelligent riffs as well as integer and true interpretation of rock incorporating modern styles of Punk, Hard Rock and Metal elements.
Punching and driving drums, basing thrashing bass lines, build a foundation of sheer power, pushing the melody section to the edges of their instruments. The drummer bezerks the drums into the ears of the listener. The bass man opens the frequencies to the rock bottom of your inner ear – both cracking the listening gear at their will.
The cutting guitar riffs, precise and voluptuous - played in disharmonic harmony - set the acoustic wall directly hitting your face on from the first sound. Both guitarists know to use their gear to fly as wingmen breaking out from time to time, creating open and really flying melodic constructions reminding the listener to early soul rock times. You can’t really say which guitar is leading, both musicians seem to drive each other to the edge of their speed and abilities like boxers in the tenth round trying to kill each other with their cords - coming together as a squadron in the end firing shells of punk rock through their amps.
The voice of the vocalist, heading the whole bunch, shows how to work with this pack of power-driven musicians. He yells, sings, whispers, growls – all seeming to catch the flying cords and the driving rhythm fired at him. The clear statements of the lyrics paired with his edgy yet sovereign sound top the cake and taste as bittersweet as the brutal force and the contrasting string layers only allow it.
Put together, this combo played at several occasions setting up a solid fan base which enables them to go deeper for production of their songs. The result is what you should listen to now – immediately – loud and clear! So turn it to eleven!
