In late February, 2019, Jeffrey James returned to Nashville after spending a month in London writing and recording his newest, soon-to-be-released, EP. Working with London natives, Jackson Dinigio-Wood (Shawn Mendez, Mario), Dan Weller (Sikth), Dan McDougal (Liam Gallagher), and Geoff Swan (Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Cardi B), the new project is piano based pop, melodically driven by Jeffrey's baritone and falcetto vocal stylings. The aptly titled "East London EP," will be released later this summer.
Jeffrey spent the last few years touring with acts like X-Ambassadors, Rachel Platten, and The Shadowboxers, while also playing festivals such as Forecastle, Firefly and Bonnaroo.
As a writer, Jeffrey's songs have been cut by artists and DJs in Italy, Australia, Holland, Norway and the States. His own, original, music has been placed on Amazon Prime’s Jack Ryan, CBS’s The Red Line and Criminal Minds, CW’s All American, and Showtime’s Shameless.
2019 will see Jeffrey featured on new songs with, Megan Davies, Arcando, LU2VYK , and more, as well as the release of his new EP.
