L U - a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ from Norwich (UK) has taken her city’s dance music community by storm.
The British songstress has been featured in DJ Mag, collaborated with established artists such as Louis La Roche and Osborne, and performed DJ sets throughout 2022, including opening for Mella Dee and Ewan McVicar at Gonzo’s Two Room, and playing across multiple stages at First Light and Latitude Festival.
Her high-energy sound has captured attention both locally and nationally, earning Track of the Week across multiple BBC radio stations and being crowned “One to Watch 2022” by BBC Radio Suffolk.
L U's 80s-tinged debut Liquid Gold, released February 2021, received support from high street retailers H&M, COS, and the food retailer Co-op, who all included the single on their official in-store playlists. Legendary Pop producer Nigel Lowis (Eternal/Dina Carroll) remixed the single, which was supported on BBC Introducing. October 2021, L U released her second single Say No, which presents L U’s soft side, with light, airy pop melodies that are sure to get stuck in your head, along with messages intended to unite others and spark social change. Do It For Love, L U's third and latest single, was released August 5th, 2022.
