To Whom It May Concern: Straight out of the basement of the great CBGB’s and into the hearts of a disgruntled homeland comes Angry Old Man. The voice of a bitter and ripped off America. Lead by singer and guitarist Yvan Sehr (evan sear,) Aom is a three piece band of punks, half-breeds and mudbloods, who are just trying to get their brand of Punk Rock and Roll (with a twist of grunge, pop and blues) out to an unwilling public.
AOM released their self produced debut EP, “Story and Song“ in 2010 ,which served as a perfect introduction to the funk that is Angry Old Man.
in 2019/2020, after their last performance at the legendary Carnegie Hall, the band fell apart due to covid, politics, and a drummer that was too afraid to tour. What would have been a death nail for most bands only drove us further. Yvan locked himself in the studio and didnt come out until our new album, "Old Man Lung" was released on 4/4/ 2020. Since then Yvan has continued to expand the catalog with various singles, another ep, and some official covers.
For 2023 Yvan is most happy to announce the return of original bassist Matt Reed, and would like everyone to welcome new drummer Mikey Danger . The sound and fury of Angry Old Man is back and ready to shake some asses again! See you all again soon!
