Daniel Mejia is a Colombian singer-songwriter and director who made his debut in the music scene in the first half of 2022 with "Ya No Importa," a song that blends mariachi and '80s pop, receiving critical acclaim. Since then, he has released five singles and a live EP recorded at the Teatro Colón in Bogotá. In 2023, he stood out with "Mejor Odiarnos," a modern bossa-nova track and participated in the 10th anniversary celebration of Breakfast Club in Medellín, sharing the stage with artists like FKJ, Hot Chip, Miami Horror, and others. In 2024, his single "El Baile" was praised for its fusion of rhythms and its 2D animated video directed by him.
