Vlado Kalember, a well-known name in the music world, began his career in 1978 in the band Srebrna krila, one of the most popular bands not only in Croatia and the region, but they have found their fans across Europe, in all countries of the former Soviet Union, in North and South America and Australia. To many admirers it is less known that Srebrna krila have even been nicknamed "Balkan Beatles" in Bulgaria. Srebrna krila are certainly one of our most enduring bands with career longer than forty years and during which Vlado Kalember i Srebrna krila have sold albums in millions of copies and are rightfully known nowadays as one of the Croatian most important pop artists.
