Nicolás Mateo is an Argentine singer and composer, attracted by a folk search marked in the author's song, flowing (or fleeing) towards the frontality of neighborhood rock. Born in Buenos Aires in June 1980, his musical search began early, at the age of fourteen, exchanging what would be his first guitar for a book. From those first compositions to those of today, Mateo appeals to an abstract poetics that does not forget emotion. His professional career is particular: as an actor, being part of the success of a TV series for teenagers "Verano del 98" and starring in an emblematic film of Argentine independent rock "Nadar solo" On a musical level, and in parallel to his work as an actor, He formed the group “La moto” as a composer, singer and guitarist, he released some demo albums on his own Todo es mirror, he made his first live performances. Later, in a duet with Mario González, he recorded his first studio album, the homonymous Inventado Antiguo. The following year, after the dissolution of the group, he began his solo career. Produced together with Diego Acosta, he publishes the album Palanca sin Cambios. Then he recorded Nicolás Mateo's Sensitive Experience in the mythical ION studio, where he deepened the naked and romantic song, and the hypnotic prose.
