-bESS- is a Brit pop inspired French band that came to life in 2011 Rocked by The Divine Comedy and Radiohead, the band started their career on stage playing more than 200 gigs before recording their first album: « Everybody Wants to Have a Good Life », a lyric, melodic and rock inspired incantation to life, was released in 2014. Elle magazine praised its « haunting melodies » and Rock One Magazine placed them among the 50 future best rock bands.
They started their first tour, playing in notorious French Festivals like Musilac, Beauregard, Imaginarium, and the Déférlantes sharing the stage with The Pixies, London Grammar or Damon Albarn…
Back from their first tour, they started recording their second album « Human »(2016): eight songs where the good and the ugly of this world strangely live side by side. André Margail joined the band to bring his aerial and rock touch. This Famous French guitarist toured all around the world with acclaimed bands or singers such as Niagara, Jane Birkin, Jacques Higelin, or Mark Knopfler. -bESS- ended this tour by opening for Supertramp. With this new album they gathered more than 20000 fans on their social networks: their « human » official video totalizing more than 220000 facebook views.
