Georgian-born Vladimir Korneev and his parents fled Georgia for Germany when he was seven years old. Over the following 12 years he completed his education as a pianist and his secondary education in Augsburg, before starting his acting and vocal studies at the State University of Theatre and Music in Munich. In 2012 he obtained his diploma with distinction.
Vladimir Korneev performs as an actor in movies /television and as a classical chanson singer.
As a Chanson singer Vladimir Korneev has been an award winner three times in succession at the German national classic singing competition, category “chanson” in Berlin. He also won the international Andrej Popov chanson competition “THE SINGING MASK“ in Saint Petersburg.
His repertoire is mainly in French and Russian but also includes english Covers and self composed and written German chansons. as well his own versions of the Kurt Weill songbook.
In May 2014 Korneev released his first chanson album “WEITERGEHN”. In 2016 he released his second album „ЯÉCITAL“, which is the live recording of his premiere concert LIEDÉЯ at the high renowned German chanson theatre BAR JEDER VERNUNFT in Berlin.
Vladimir released his third album "HERZ" in 2019. It is the live recording of his ‘Winter’ concert at the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT theatre in Berlin.
His new orchestra album "ROMÁNCE“ in cooperation with the radio orchestra of the West German broadcasting corporation WDR) is available since May 2021 on all digital platforms worldwide and on CD through the website vladimirkorneev.com-

Currently Vladimir works on a Kurt Weill album "YOUKALI" with band. He premiered this new Weill program as the artist in residence at the the KURT WEILL FEST 2020 in Dessau succeeding Ute Lemper. He also celebrated his fourth premiere at the Bar jeder Vernunft in Berlin.
Vladimir has performed extensively on stage in Germany with his own concerts as well as a guest of symphonic orchestras and numerous TV shows.
