Mohammed Assaf is a Palestinian artist from Gaza, born in Libya in 1989. His artistic career began since he was a child, when he participated in the operetta "Vanguards of Palestine", in which he sang for the right of children to education. He was influenced by patriotic songs since he was young, as he sang to Palestine the song "Shudi Hailak Ya Balad" when he was eleven years old. As for the most famous song, "Ali Kufia", which he sang when he was 16 years old, which became one of the revolutionary Palestinian heritage songs and in a record period, this song became one of the most popular and beloved works of the Palestinian people. He previously participated in the New Star program in Palestine, in which he sings for the jury from a distance, due to his inability to attend the program's studios due to the siege of Gaza. As for the participation that changed the course of his life, it was his participation in Arab Idol in 2013. Assaf managed to capture the attention of the Arab masses with his wonderful performance, and everyone praised his voice and bet on his victory.
