FOREPLAY first formed in 2016 during Florian Robert’s and Nathan Clement’s freshman year of high school on the west coast of Reunion Island. The band made rock music in Florian’s garage and played little gigs for their friends around town. Nathan played the drum and sang while Florian played guitar. By their senior year they had written a few songs and learnt other instruments. In 2019 a lifelong friend and lover of the two musicians suddenly passed away only aged 17. In order to release shock and pay tribute to her memory, they’ve started writing and recording a few songs for her. After graduating and moving to Europe, the band took a semester long break after which they recorded in a week their debut EP, Parallel:Sea.
