I was 20 when I left home to busk all over Europe. I met some amazing people and got to play for beautiful audiences in London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Budapest and countless places. It was pretty scary sometimes but it definitely was worth the risk.
After that wonderful year I had to go back and finish my studies and get a 9 to 5 job and kind of go on with life. I actually did that for a while and it wasn’t that bad, but I don’t think I was as happy as I thought I was.
I missed writing and playing and writing more and playing even more, so I did that. I met amazing friends and played along heroes of mine like Julien Baker, Jake Bugg or Catfish and the Bottlemen. Then I had a pretty tough year and I learned a few things about letting go of things and people, which sucked to be honest, but it took me to write my first LP.
My mom says it feels “like a nostalgic lonely kid trying to find the pain behind every moment but in a good way” and I asked her if I could use that for promo and she said yes, so that’s that.
The album will be out early in 2020 but for the time being you can listen to On Me and a new song coming out in January
