Hot Music and Cool vibes - A True New York Sound
Aldo Buzzi music comes from many influences - Pink Floyd, Genesis, Bowie, T Rex, Iggy Pop, Frank Zappa from classical to the 50's and the Rat-pack sandwiched in between, basically listened to just about everything. Aldo writes and composes music, sings, plays bass guitar, keyboards, drums and percussion. The only lessons he ever had was on the drums. Playing by ear and feeling, if it sounds good that is what you get. Aldo has been around for some time in the music and art scene in New York City and surrounding areas of the tri-state. Playing in the early days of the Punk and New Wave scene in the city clubs such as the Mudd club, Interferon, Earth's End, The Peppermint Lounge, among many other famous venues of that era. Two distinct bands that Aldo had formed and played with were, The Lampshades and Vinyl Flesh. The Lampshade produced a 45 that was recorded at Radio City Music Hall studio in 81' called '"Not Sold Separately". Many influences over the years have driven the music in so many directions that has expanded Aldo’s artistic value’s and creativity of his music. Dropping out of the scene in the late 90’s early 2000’s – in which you can imagine why. The past 10 years, Aldo totally solo having gained back his momentum, creativity and Mojo – the music became fun and exciting once more.
