Colombian, bilingual singer-songwriter, Camila Sterling, is already making waves in the music
industry thanks to her talent. She was born in Bogotá, Colombia on July 21, 1998, from an
early age she showed her passion for music. As witnesses to her natural talent her parents
enrolled her in singing lessons. During her childhood, in her native Colombia, Sterling
participated in all the musical and artistic events that her school organized. Among her first
musical memories is singing while her grandfather played his guitar, turning family gatherings
into a stage.
At the age of 14, Camila moved to Miami, FL with her family. This event marked an important
moment in the life of Camila who faced the challenge of starting her life in a new city with
courage.
Over time, she adapted to the new culture and at the request of her parents, she went to
college. Her passion for music was too strong and longing to sing, two years later Camila left
her journalism career to follow her true dream and focus fully on music. Among her musical
influences are Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Juanes and Karol G.
Celebrating her birthday, July 21, 2022, Camila is releasing her first song globally. With her
debut single “Hookah,” the young singer-songwriter proves that she is one of the most
promising emerging talents in Latin music.
