Juan Calle was born and raised in Ecuador. He grew up in New York and currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Calle's passion for music started as a therapeutic escape from his continuous unfortunate encounters when it came to romance. Through time his lyrics expressed both personal and imaginative realities, which later turned into stories revolving around his perception of a romantically flawless reality. By incorporating bilingual lyrics in songwriting, his main focus was to bring his own style to the music industry while maintaining his hispanic roots. In effect from various music influences, he found his sound and developed his music style through Baile Funk.
