BEUK plays energetic hard rock. At Willy Radio and Alcatraz Festival 2022, the trio presented 'Word for Word'. This is the first single from a new EP with producer Ace Zec (Cobra The Impaler, Spoil Engine, King Hiss).
BEUK combines hard rock 'n roll with straightforward Dutch lyrics. Singer-bassist Roel Jacobus, guitarist Meyke Demey and drummer Laurent De Moor have formed a tight power trio since 2014. "You sound like De Mens and Kreuners, but harder" - Sofie Engelen (Willy Radio).
BEUK played more than 200 gigs since 2014, including Alcatraz Festival, AB Brussels, Campo Solar, 013 Tilburg (NL). Support acts of Phil Campbell (Motörhead), The Kids, Dog Eat Dog, Godfathers, Channel Zero etc. More than 20 gigs took place in England, where BEUK became part of the booming underground scene in London. The band received airplay there and was nominated for the MIA of 'Best International Band' by Hard Rock Hell Radio Network in 2017. "Who cares about the language if it rocks?
