Olufemi George, popularly known as Oba Lurge is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and record executive from Lagos Nigeria.
He is widely regarded as one of the most versatile artistes of the new generation, with an optimistic & inspirational sound.
Some of his favorite musicians are JAY-Z , WizKid, Burna Boy, Davido Olamide and Show Dem Camp.
Aged 6 he moved with his family to Lagos to reconcile with his dad who had always been away due to work.
His first musical project Mich Selber the Mixtape was released in January of 2019 to flag the launch of his imprint Mich Selber Music where he signed himself.
He went ahead to release a second EP Grammy Dreams in December of that same year.
He consistently released singles including Red Rose which became his first international collaboration expanding his reach to Jamaicans.
He released Sorry For The Wait a project that serves as an apology to his fans for the delay of his next project Son Of George.
Oba Lurge signed a one year distribution deal with Universal Music Nigeria in 2021 and left in 2022.
