Los Angeles native Jaydes is like Pharrell, The Weekend, and Lil Wayne put together. Using his abilities to rap, sing, and make his own beats, Jaydes fuses elements of Trap, Hip Hop, Rock, EDM and R&B with his unique vocals and production style.
Jaydes produced and was featured on a collaboration with E-40 after touring with him in 2018. Currently he is working on albums with Blandon and B.News , producing music for Deadly Hash , and lead singer of Green Lit . He wrote and co-produced their album Green Light District .
Jaydes is a first generation Jewish-American, and native Los Angelino. He started his music career as a member of Il*Faded. The rap group had some success after collaborating with Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and opening for big acts like YG and Busta Rhymes. The group split up due to unfortunate circumstances before the release of their debut album.
Jaydes continued as a solo artist but wanted to create the music he envisioned, so he went back to school where he met the other members of Green Lit: Paul Grylys and Ryan Williams. Before graduating college, Jaydes almost had to drop out in order to take care of his mother as she was coming to the end of an eight-year battle against cancer. Before she passed, he recorded her on a song he wrote, making her childhood dream of being a singer come true. He released Unconditional Love (feat. Toni Shahak) as his first single, as a solo artist, donating all proceeds to carcinoid cancer awareness.
