Impy is a Roman DJ whose musical origins can be traced back to the nights of 'Cabaret Lolesque,' an electronic and performance project in collaboration with Lola Kola. He made his debut in Rome's queer scene in October 2012 during the Weird festival at CSOA Forte Prenestino in Rome.
Over the years, Impy has navigated the Roman underground scene, performing at major parties in the capital such as Amigdala, laRoboterie, Glamda, in venues such as Ex Dogana, Lanificio, Spin Time Labs, CSOA Strike, Cieloterra, Zoobar, Trenta Formiche, Fanfulla, Villa Ada, CSOA Forte Prenestino, and in different Italian cities such as Bologna (Cassero), Florence (Crisco), Milan (Leccomilano), Turin (Off Topic) and international ones such as Berlin (Schwuz), Amsterdam (Prik).
In 2012, Impy is one of the founders of U-kabarett, a queer event that fuses techno music with cabaret, where he is resident together with Lady Maru and Lilith Primavera.
In the following years, between 2013 and 2014, Impy participated in the Gender Bender festival together with Lola Kola with Cabaret Lolesque. The festival is known for presenting new representations of the body, gender identities and sexual orientation to the Italian audience.
Impy's music production career kicked off in 2017, contributing singles to Lilith Primavera and remixing several artists, including Eric Borrelli, Mak Others, Iwanda, and Playgirls From Caracas.
Over the following years, Impy released several singles, including "Bitte Zurückbleiben" in 2018 on No Sense Of Place, "Cinématique" in 2019 on Fakktory Records along with "Bipolaire" as a B-side, and "Voilà" in collaboration with Lola Kola in 2022, self-produced. In 2022, he also comes out on Fakktory Records with "Let's Just Move," the mixing and mastering of which was done by Luciano Lamanna at Subsound studio. In 2023 he collaborated with EGEENO and together they produced the single La Festa.
