Catholic singer, composer and music producer, Eugenio Jorge was born in Cruzeiro - São Paulo, the son of Mrs. Maria Madalena and Mr. José Eugenio. He is married to Maria Marta and is the father of Vinícius, Guilherme, Suzana, Thais and João Marcos.
Eugenio had his personal encounter with Jesus in 1979, when he abandoned his life as a carnival artist and converted from samba dancer to psalmist.
His career as a singer and music composer is marked by many successful songs that have projected him onto the national scene and beyond our country's borders, such as: “Eis que Faço Novas Todas as Coisas”, Só por Ti, Jesus”, “Mãe do Novo Homem”, “A Ele a Glória” and “Ninguém te Ama Como Eu” (an originally Mexican song whose version and recording by Eugenio Jorge made it one of the most played songs on radio stations and churches throughout Brazil).
