Vio is Violetta. Vio is direct, incisive. Like her name, like her songs. Between gentleness and anger, she sets her eyes on the contradictions of modernity. Vio is bittersweet pop.
Violetta started playing guitar at the age when people learned to count and quickly wrote her first songs. Later some of them will be synchronized in particular on Gérard Jugnot's latest film “Pourris Gates” or, in 2023, on the film “Tout, tout de suite” on M6.
She then released her solo projects. If with “Paradox” (2020) Vio had already attracted the hyperconnection and frenzy of our time, his second opus “Inquiète” (2023) reveals itself to be more intimate. She expresses her concerns about the future, love or relationships with herself and others. Produced by Major Minor and Jones Blank, Vio also collaborated with Spider Zed on this EP.
In 2024, Vio is preparing a third opus, accompanied by his long-time sidekick: Jones Blank. 24 hours in the life of a woman. Navigating between disillusionment and hope, Vio sings about questioning and the desire to always question oneself in order to move forward.
