Ninii is a prolific Nigerian Afropop singer and performer with a unique style of delivery and smooth vocal range and appeal. She was born in Nigeria on September 22, 1992 and has been singing since she was a child. She was inspired by the legendary Whitney Houston whose songs captivated her when she was very young and motivated her to pursue music as a career.
A versatile vocalist who can lend her voice to practically any genre of music, Ninii has sung in Church choirs and performed at weddings, birthdays, night clubs, and live shows in Lagos, Nigeria. In April 2019, during a back-up session in a studio in Lagos, Ninii met the enigmatic USA-based singer/songwriter, Yuyu (Joji Dimanu) who became her mentor and helped hone her artistic fervor. Beginning in late 2019, they embarked on a series of studio recordings of songs written and co-produced by Joji Dimanu. In November and December 2020, Ninii's first two singles, "Spontaneous" and "Suamu Tintin" were released and have received moderate acclaim. Her third single, "The Best" was released in June 2021 and her latest single, "Me and You" was released in July 2021. No doubt, Ninii is working her way up the list of Nigeria's hottest female artists. She is set to release more singles between July and December 2021. Her debut album is set for release in early 2022.
Just like music gave her hope, Ninii wants to entertain people and spread hope around the world with her music.
