Michael Ramirez, better known as Compacity; is a Fashion Entrepreneur and Recording Artist born in Bronx, New York. Raised in Boston, Massachusetts and currently residing in Music City USA Nashville, TN.
At an early age, Michael developed a deep love for the arts; drawing, songwriting, and photography which eventually led him to modeling for John D. Casablanca in Boston, MA in the early 2000’s. Modeling was a very short lived moment during this period.
He transitioned from songwriting into a recording artist in early 2007 and has blazed a trail for his music career ever since. His smooth vibes and witty deliveries makes him hard for anyone not to be captured by his melodies and catchy hooks.
Growing up in the early 90’s; during the rise of the Bad Boy & Death Row era of music, Michael was heavily inspired by Hip-Hop, R&B and a mix of Latin Music which stems from his Latin roots of Dominican Republic.
Los Rankiadorez was a Latin Hip-Hop Music Group, which consisted of El Moneyman, Baby Rey & Compacity. They all met while attending High School in Boston, Massachusetts. While attending High School, Los Rankiadorez performed in multiple school talent shows and local events across the city.
Between 2007-2008; Los Rankiadorez released a compilation of work, which included a series of singles and a mixtape called “Death Before Dishonor” which included work from Big Mato & Temperamento.
In 2007 Los Rankiadorez released their first EP, named “Los Mas Callao Son Los Mas Peligroso” which featured, Latin producer Nan2 El Maestro De Las Melodia and songs “Yo Soy Tu Dueno” and “Una Noche Mas”
In 2009, Compacity started his solo career as a recording artist with Concealed Weaponz Productions. During his time with the label he released various singles and was featured on many records.
In 2010, Compacity released “The Compacity Zone” LP, which featured classics like Love Music Drug Music, Mary Jane, and Ready For The Game. Later on that year Compacity also released eXo Money Gang EP in collaboration with Concealed Weaponz Productions.
In early 2013, Compacity branched out into the fashion industry and launched The Addicted Apparel; which sold many trendy T-Shirts, Hoodies and other merchandise throughout Massachusetts and nationwide online. Many celebrities have been seen wearing The Addicted Apparel such as Hip-Hop Artist Kid Ink & Latin Hip-Hip Artist Lapiz Conciente.
In 2017; after 3 years of silence and not releasing any music, Compacity teamed up with Alyssah Stylez and released another EP labeled “The Rebirth”.
In 2019 The Addicted Apparel changed its name to Rare Stitches during an experimental relaunch.
