Jim Strange is a dad, musician, teacher, author, extreme coffee lover, and overt night owl. Having toured the globe as a multi instrumentalist musician with the Royal Marines Band, Jim performed alongside some of the finest musicians and actors in the world.
For over two decades he has developed his love of music theory and soundtracks, taking a particular interest in arranging classical piano and large orchestral scores for individual solo instruments.
James studied at the Royal Marines School of Music, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Cumbria. He subsequently established his own publishing company and record label and began printing, recording and distributing his musical works. His musical catalogue has attracted millions of streams, sales, and downloads worldwide.
Inspired by his experiences, Jim trained and qualified as a school teacher, and now focuses on sharing his experiences and knowledge through recordings, teaching and as an author of educational resources.
Since having kids, Jim became a bit of a "Disney dad" enjoying recording and arranging super sweet Disney Music Box covers on authentic music boxes. He's incorporated these tracks into a successful Disney Music Box Playlist on Spotify.
