Lionel Patrix, a Franco-British musician based in Paris, studied classical music at the Conservatoire, then jazz and contemporary music at EDIM & CRD Bourg-La-Reine / Sceaux (DEM Jazz).
As a pianist, composer and arranger, he has accompanied numerous groups and artists in Paris and London, covering a wide range of musical styles, from jazz to Algerian music, from hip-hop to chanson, from experimental music to Brit' pop. He has also accompanied actors, storytellers and slammers on stage.
It was only a few years ago that he started writing his own songs and singing them himself. Inspired by soul, funk and rap, his songs can be intimate but also upbeat and danceable - what you might describe as feel good music!
