For Staubkind aka. Louis Manke music is not only his greatest passion, his passion and his lifeblood. Music is his life! A realization that the German singer and songwriter, whose 2004 debut 'Traumfänger' heralded a remarkable career, is more aware of today than ever before. "I have noticed that for me, private and artistic cannot be separated from each other. For me, one doesn't work without the other," he confesses and explains why he is now continuing his successful musical career after a privately very complicated phase with many ups and downs: "During the extremely difficult lockdown, I even thought about quitting, but was encouraged - not least by my many fans - to continue. With this decision, I then immediately had the theme for a new disc." The work is called 'Da ist immer noch mein Herz', Louis describes it as an "album of intense self-reflection", on which the general Staubkind motto "Catch your dreams" is expanded to include new personal experiences. He says, "I changed my entire life, and that's what you hear in every single song."
