GoGerila! (yes, with the exclamation mark) is a band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formally formed in April 2012, Go Gerila! members have been playing alongside each other for several years prior to that. The band consists of very talented individuals with different musical backgrounds and styles in Aizat (Keyboard and Vocals), Anas (Guitar), Amir (Guitar and Vocals), Pito (Bass), Ashroff (Guitar) and Ruvi (Drums).
Go Gerila! aims to present the world with progressive and fresh music while staying true to its roots, thus making defining Go Gerila!’s music an almost impossible task. Go Gerila! draws influences from old and new international bands, incorporated with magical touches of the melodious Malay sound. This combination was perfectly represented in their singles ‘Outlaw’, ‘Hadiah’ (Gift) and ‘Black Box’. These singles will be part of Go Gerila’s debut EP which is due to launch in June 2013.
Energetic, artistic, experimental and extravagant, Go Gerila live performances always offer audience with enriching experience through their beautifully arranged music. Go Gerila! believes that fusion sounds has a special ability to trigger the most untapped section of our brains.
