VERBB was born Adeyinka Francis Awolola on 09 July, in Ogudu-Ojota, Lagos. He grew up in a Christian household with three female siblings. VERBB attended Mayflower School Ikenne, He grew up listening to Dr. Orlandoh Owoh, King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Don Moen, and a host of other artists. VERBB had loved and always wanted to understand the mystery behind making sounds and great music. This made him curious thereby pursuing a self-thought career in music. Being a believer in Christ, he has a strong background in church music from the choir, He studied Fine and applied arts at Ladoke Akintola university of technology Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) and majored in painting. His music evolves around real-life experiences and events, sometimes involving fictional stories, but VERBB is on the verge of creating a lasting impact as he calls his music Afro-Velvety a surround coinage of Afrobeats, African music, and deep emotional themes.
