If our animal is so communicative, it is because he has gleaned things along the way: research in musicology, performing and hitchhiking with no hotels have taken him to New Orleans and Memphis, where he learnt the craft of performing and produced his first singles, witnesses in French of his obsession with the blue note.
His first EP (June2023) reminds us that true joy grows in pain. He has no other name than SINGE ("monkey" in French) : this totem is a window to his true self, not a disguise.
And indeed, we're caught by the sincerity of these mantra-songs, milestones of a wild pop, cut in his bedroom with guitar and self-sampling of his cries, animated by the shadow of Ray Charles, the craziness of Parliament/Funkadelic and the modern grooves of Nigeria.
