大島 花子 (Hanako Ōshima), born on October 7, 1973, in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese actress and singer. She is the daughter of actress Yukiko Kashiwagi and singer Kyū Sakamoto. Ōshima's music career began with the release of her single "見上げてごらん夜の星を" in November 2003. Her debut album 百日紅の木の下で was released on 2021. Ōshima graduated from the University of Toyo Eiwa and had a notable personal event when her father died in the Japan Airlines Flight 123 accident in August 1985. She married a Brazilian jiu-jitsu dojo director in Hawaii in January 2007, and their first child was born on February 17, 2009. Ōshima's acting career includes roles in films such as Himeyuri no tō (ひめゆりの塔), released in 1995. She has also authored a book titled Egao no okurimono- Sakamoto Kyū shashinshū (笑顔の贈り物―坂本九写真集), published in 1997, which is a collection of photographs of her father Kyu Sakamoto.
