Karabo Kekana born(2003-04-15) better known As K.pRO Is a south african hip-hop artists and producer from johannesburg south.
K.pRO Is a singer,songwriter and a producer of various genres including pop.The Jozi Lyts hit maker was born in Limpopo,Lebowakgomo
Hospital and was raised by his grandmother in Zebediela.
He is currently a young musician signed under his own record label called Unique Entertainment based in Johannesburg CBD.
K.pRO started as a young house DJ alongside his brother and performed at corporate events and gatherings such as weddings at as very young age of 10.
His father,William Nkuna was a choirmaster and gospel producer during the 80’s working alongside the great mathibestad choir.
K.pRO surprised most of his fans when he released his debut single called Jozi Lyts in the 1st quarter of the year as a follow-up to his previous song No Tears featuring Romeo and Syrus.The song Jozi Lyts is over 2000 streams on soundcloud with a download count of 3k plus.The song had a major effect in the hip-hop scene and was a local radio hit,topping local radio charts for 2 weeks.K.pRO has participated in a couple of local cyphers and one mic shows whereby he won several prices.
The song Jozi Lyts was followed by an Ep which was released in July on all digital stores called Two Face which is seating on over 6.5k streams on soundcloud collectively and the lead single of the project,Two face,which is sitting on 1.3k views on youtube and 3k plus download count.
K.pRO also follows African Trap Movement which includes the likes of Ruff_Atm ,eMtee ,Saudi and Sjava as he claims that their music inspired him to be who he is today hence he does African Trap Music as well.
Besides being an artist and songwriter,K.pRO has the love for music production.He spends more time indoors making beats and mastering than promoting his own music.Syrus,Romeo and Drastic Major X are one of the few people whom work with K.pRO in studio on a daily basis to produce hits.
K.pRO has shown to be a hard working,determined musician so far with his consistency and the messages he sends out in his songs.
