Hertz Horn was born from underground Metal veteran Steve Dearnley's desire to keep making original new music. Playing everything except the Drums as well as writing, producing and mixing the whole thing himself, it has a distinctive modus operandi. The music is evocative of a spy thriller or heist movie and the lyrics are layered with subtext. Drumming duties are handled by Joe Lazarus, whose sublime playing gives Hertz Horn the strongest foundation possible. The results take in many avenues of Hard Rock and Metal, distilling them into a cohesive, uniquely blended sound. Debut EP "Sentinels" was released in 2019, followed by "Phantom Limb" two years later. "No Stars Overhead" was next and a trilogy of Singles concluded in November 2022 with the release of "Daggers in the Static". Hertz Horn was nominated in the Best Hard Rock Act category of the 2022 Radio Wigwam Awards and so far these songs have been streamed over 65,000 times on Spotify.
